20 Sweet Valentine’s Day Crafts For Kids

Are you looking for fun and sweet Valentine’s Day Crafts to do with your kids in 2021?

A few weeks ago I was talking to my oldest daughter B.

We had just celebrated her and her sister’s birthdays in late December. Miss B’s birthday is Christmas Eve and her sister’s is three days before, which means we always make a huge deal over their birthdays. Naturally, I crowned them the Queen of the day.

It was a hit for both girls.My birthday rolled around in early January and Miss B returned the favor by crowning me the Queen of the day. She even gave me one of her crowns and I wore it to church for her amusement.

I then later wore in into the grocery store, unbeknownst to me. I had forgotten I put the crown on. Every moment I was in that store, I received sideways looks.

They weren’t subtle looks either.

They were more like “uh who let the crazy lady out of the asylum” looks. It wasn’t until I was walking to my car that I realized what I had on my head. Talk about embarrassing, but it brought my daughter joy and that is what matters to me.

On that day, the day I completely embarrassed myself in our local grocery store and swore to never go back, Miss B told me that I was the Queen of the day. Not her. She was only the Queen on her Birthday …. and Christmas …. and Easter … And Valentine’s Day because that is her favorite holiday.

I am not sure if it is her favorite because of the candy, the teddy bears or because of the pink and red colors. (Those are her favorite). Either way, Valentine’s Day is only a few short days away! This means she will be the Queen once again and she can wear the crown into the grocery store this time.

My Children love to craft more than anything.

If our activity of the day means creating something, they are all in. I have gathered a list of the sweetest Valentine’s Day crafts I could find. And I look forward to trying them out with my girls and hopefully you will find some your kiddos will enjoy as well!
