This flower and leaf stamping activity will delight your preschooler!
My girls LOVE to paint. If they could paint all day long they would. Of course, I don’t allow that. (Momma needs a break from paint every once in a while!) But when we do bust out the paint, I like to find new activities to do with the paint, such as this flower and leaf stamping activity.
When I asked the girls to collect leaves they were curious. After all, what can you do with paint, leaves and q-tips? Turns out you can do quit a bit and the girls quickly caught on!
They were delighted for sure with this fun activity and honestly, so was I!
I thought the girls would love to try flower and leaf stamping with paint, and I was right! They loved this activity.
The materials you need to do this activity with your preschooler are:
- paint
- q-tips
- rubber bands
- leaves of different sizes
- paint brushes
- white paper
Wrap your q-tips in a bundle with a rubber band (as pictured above.)
First stamp the grass with leaves.
Paint on the leave stems.
Use the q-tips to stamp on the flowers.
Allow your flower paintings to dry. Then you’re done!
Did you do this craft? I want to see them!
