Make Easter More Meaningful For Your Family

Please Share With Your Friends!

Easter

Easter is a time when many families come together to celebrate.

For some, Easter includes the Bunny and eggs. However, Easter is a time to focus on Jesus and His resurrection. Whether you choose to add in then Bunny and eggs or solely focus on the true meaning of Easter, there are plenty of ways to make it more meaningful for your family. Here are ten ideas to get you started!

Attend an Easter service at church together.

This is a great way to learn about Easter and its meaning for Christians.

Make Resurrection Rolls as part of your celebration.

These rolls have been around for centuries and are fun to teach kids about Jesus’ resurrection. Here are the instructions on how.

Are you looking for ways to become a peaceful mom but you aren’t sure how?

I created a free planner for moms like me, who want to create a peaceful home but let the stress of never having it all together defeat them, because who really ever has it together? The best we can do is plan for peace and roll with the punches, right? If you want your free planner you can get it below!

Tye hard-boiled eggs in different colors and use them as decorations around the house.

This is a fun way to get into the Easter spirit and add some cheer to your home.

Hunt for eggs.

This classic Easter tradition can be a lot of fun for kids (and adults, too!). Just make sure to hide the eggs well, so they’re not easy to find!

Bake a cake or cookies.

What’s Easter without some delicious treats? So get in the kitchen with your family and bake up something special this year. Here is a fun cross cake and easter egg cookies to try.

Try Easter-themed crafts.

Easter isn’t just about candy and eggs! It’s also a great time to get creative with your kids by making Easter-themed crafts like bunny ears or paper flowers. You can find tons of ideas on Pinterest.

Take an Easter picture together as a family and frame it for the following year’s celebration!

Make Resurrection Eggs (or buy them).

The resurrection eggs are great to use as part of your celebration, especially if you have little ones who might not yet know what happened during Holy Week leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection from death three days later. They’re also fun because they come in different colors, so each child can choose which one they want first – then open it to find the next surprise!

Read the resurrection story from the bible every year.

This tradition is one that you’ll want to keep doing for years because it’s so meaningful!

Play Easter games.

Easter is all about fun, so why not invite some friends over and play Easter-themed games like Pin the Tail on The Easter Bunny or Easter Egg Hunt? Here are some more ideas.

Easter is an excellent time for family memories – enjoy these ideas and create some new traditions of your own!

Happy Easter from our family to yours! 🙂

Do one or more of these ideas together as a family and enjoy celebrating in a meaningful way! Happy Easter!
