5 fun ways to use Chalkola chalk markers and board with kids.

Do your kids love drawing on chalk boards? Do they love to be creative? My children absolutely love anything to do with drawing.

Most days my living room looks like the arts and crafts aisle exploded all over. I love to provide them with opportunities to express their creativity. What I love even more is providing them learning opportunities where they can be creative! This is why we have fallen in love with *Chalkola chalk markers and board.

Chalk has never been my favorite to write with. I am not a fan of the scratchy noise and residue left over on my hands. But with *Chalkola chalk markers you do not have to worry about the mess of chalk while being creative, making these products perfect for children!

Here are 5 fun and creative ways I have used Chalkola chalk markers and board to create learning opportunities for my children.

Before I share these fun learning activities, I want to tell you that I am hosting a giveaway from *Chalkola!

Chalkola Chalk Markers

Now, let’s talk fun activities to do with your Chalkola markers and board!

Number Connecting

Miss S is finishing up her preschool year. She loves to practice her numbers. Getting to draw on the chalkboard with chalk markers is one of her favorite ways to practice anything relating to school!

Sight Word Practice

Miss B has been flying through learning to read. Practicing her sight words with magnets and Chalkola chalk markers adds an element of fun that a basic worksheet cannot duplicate.

ABC Letter Tracing

Mister M came home last year and since being home he has excelled in so many areas, especially in learning the English language. Tracing is a great way to familiarize your child with their letters or numbers. Use colors they love and practice singing the ABC’s or counting together while they trace!

Magnet Number Copy Work

This was Miss S’s idea. She wanted to put the numbers on the chalk board and practice writing them. I thought it was an excellent idea! The colorful magnet and Chalkola chalk markers made this copy work activity more engaging for her little mind and it was fun for me too.

Practicing Shapes with Chalkola Chalk Markers

Miss B came up with the idea of drawing shapes on the board for her brother and sister to review. You can do this activity with any thing your child needs to review to add an element of fun and engagement.

After all the learning activities I set the kids lose with the Chalkola chalk markers and board to draw whatever they wanted.

Miss B drew a lemonade stand using her favorite color.

Mister M is practicing shapes and coloring in the lines, so even though it looks like a bunch of scribbles, he told me it was a boat.

Miss S drew an elaborate picture of a space portal leading into a house.

Thinking hard on what to draw.

Miss S then decided to draw her fruit, her numbers and a few insects. She’s my artist, she can spend all day with a marker and board.

After the kids played with the Chalkboard it was my turn.

I drew my favorite bible verse on the board and display it in our kitchen.

Here are a few of our favorite things about the *Chalkola products we have.

  1. The colors in the 30 pack are amazing! There is such a variety to choose from.
  2. The compactness of the chalkboard we have. It’s big enough to use in our home school and at the table. But it is small enough to be displayed anywhere in my home and not take up to much room.
  3. We love the chalk markers because they do not leave the chalky feel and mess all over your hands after using them.

I am so excited to be using the markers and chalk board with in our home school this year! Try *Chalkola products out for yourself! Use the discount code JENNA10 to receive 10% off your order!
