Sometimes, the best activities are the most simple. This fall picture frame activity kept my kids entertained, learning, and engaged for a long time!
This activity does not have to be only for fall or autumn; adapt it to fit Christmas, winter, spring, summer, or any holiday!
I bought all the materials from the Dollar Tree.
How to do this Fall Picture Frame Activity for Kids
Materials
- Small boards from the Dollar Tree
- Fake leaves
- Beads
- Buttons
- Small haystacks
- Pretend acorns
- Small pretend pumpkins
Instructions
Put four boards together to make a “picture frame.”
Next, place the picture frame on a flat surface.
Give your child an array of simple and fun items to create “pictures.”
These materials can be things you have around the home or cheap items you bought from Dollar Tree.
My kids used fake small pumpkins, acorns, haystacks, and leaves.
They spent over an hour creating fun scenarios and pictures to put in their “picture frame!”
