If you read my jellyfish post, you know that I was out of tissue paper because Mr. Tidy (aka my husband) sometimes convinces me to throw out craft material I don’t use for months.
You will be happy to know I went out and bought some more. I have NO PLANS on throwing it out. Ha!
Today was a water kinda day. After we got back from a water show at the local library the girls swam in the pool. I thought it would be fun to make a stained glass fish to go with today’s theme.
To make this stained glass fish craft you will need the following materials:
- Tissue paper
- Contact paper
- scissors
- tape
To get started, cut a fish shape out of the contact paper. I made a stencil out of white paper and then taped down the fish to the table. The contact paper kept wanting to roll up on me. After it was taped to the table for a while, the rolling stopped.
Tear up some tissue paper. We used green, blue, yellow and white.
Create your mosaic stained glass fish out of tissue paper!
(yes, I know my table has all kinds of paint on it. This table has been through so much and holds so many memories! It was passed down from my parents to me. It’s not Instagram perfect but it’s perfect to me 🙂 )
Hang it up on a window and watch the sun shine through!
If you do this craft I would love to see it. Let me see pictures below!
