Do you ever want to simply make a craft with your kids? My kids love to be crafty. While lately, I have not been as crafty as I used to be, I am trying to get back into it. I was thinking of a simple craft we could do with items we had on hand and came up with this Fall wreath for kids.
The items are so simple! I used a string, a bag of fake leaves, a paper plate, and glue. All of these items were found at the Dollar Tree!
To make this simple craft, just follow the instructions below.
How to Make a Fall Wreath Craft for Kids
Start by gathering the items you will need. I used fall leaves, string, and paper plates we already had. I also grabbed glue, scissors, and a hole punch.
The next step is to cut the middle out of the paper plate. For little ones, it may be best for an adult to do this step.
Next, have the kids glue the fake leaves around the paper plate’s edges. I first grabbed the glue stick, but this didn’t work as well, so we broke out the hand-dandy Elmer’s glue. You, of course, can add any decoration you would like! Be creative.
Allow the leaves to dry.
Punch a hole in the paper plate and feed the string through. Now you have a fun and simple wreath you can hang anywhere in your house!
